Artwork Guidelines
Artwork requirements
For peace of mind that your artwork is printed accurately, please ensure that you follow the requirements below.
All artwork must be supplied:
- All files MUST be set to CMYK
- File formats accepted are pdf, eps, jpg and ai
- Each artwork/design must be sent as a separate file or page
- With each file name including the finished dimensions and a description (eg. “3m x 1m Description.pdf”) At the correct width-to-height ratio
- All images embedded
- With all fonts converted to outlines/curves/shapes
Black CMYK Settings:
- If your banner has a lot of black, setting your CMYK to just 100% black can look a bit faded.
- To get the deepest black please set your CMYK settings for your black areas to…..C50 / M50 / Y50 / B100
Colour Matching:
- If images are sent in RGB or PANTONE these will automatically be converted to CMYK and this can cause a change in the colours printed. We will contact you if this occurs. For large orders it is advisable to order 1 off first so you can see the colours actually printed
- Please be aware that colours printed can be different from how they look on a computer due to the calibration of each screen. We cannot guarantee a perfect colour match from what you may see, all colours printed will be true CMYK
We check you uploaded artwork:
- We check all uploaded artworks for any issues that we think may occur
- We check all files for quality of image, the correct size that matches your order, file formatting and also safe areas for any banners with hems or pole pockets
- If we do encounter any issues, we will contact you and we will put you order on hold until we receive a reply, this may result in a delay in getting your order on the print run.

Important Disclaimer
We cannot be held responsible for issues contained in the supplied artwork itself such as spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, RGB colour mode, overprint, resolution, missing fonts and missing images. To avoid these issues, please ensure your artwork adheres to our requirements.
Artwork not supplied to our requirements will likely render an unsatisfactory result or delay your order. If you are unsure about the artwork you have, please check with us beforehand to ensure there are no complications with your order. If artwork cannot be used to produce what has been ordered, we will advise you of this and request how you would like to proceed. If an artwork size is different to the ordered size, the ordered size always takes precedence. This is due to the fact that artworks from our customers are supplied in a variety of scales.
With subjective issues of quality such as image resolution, we will sometimes advise you if the quality is extremely low, though again, we cannot be held responsible if the artwork is supplied in such a manner and isn’t suitable for your needs.
